Direct-Hire (Contingency Services)

Our retainer-based search assignments operate on an exclusive, client-centred basis. Each search assignment follows a planned strategy and employs a systematic approach tailored to the client situation and candidate development requirements We support each retained search placement with a one-year guarantee.
Our approach to executive search is to organize an assignment into three related phases:
In the first phase, we would work with you to develop a more detailed understanding of the position, future plans for your business, key objectives and the environment in which the candidate will be successful. These discussions allow us to represent you knowledgeably and persuasively to potential candidates and the marketplace overall. Your needs would then be documented in the form of a Position and Candidate Overview.
The Overview provides a brief summary of strategies as well as the opportunities and challenges going forward. It also provides an accurate statement of the plans and needs, details of the position responsibilities, and the background, experience and personal characteristics that the ideal candidate should possess. This document is used in the recruiting process and is given to potential candidates to assist them in understanding the details of the position. We also ensure that all individuals involved in the search have a common understanding of its requirements.
Our research effort is directed toward identifying target organizations and individuals within whose level and scope of responsibility suggest a possible match with your requirements.
We then directly contact and screen these candidates in order to select the few who best meet your requirements. The target list would be shared with you to ensure alignment and to identify any potential sensitivity about recruiting in specific organizations.
The second phase of our work consists of presenting candidate reports that capture specific accomplishments that align to the responsibilities of the role. After reviewing these backgrounds with you, we schedule candidate meetings with those individuals deemed to most closely match your requirements. If appropriate, we participate in the interviews to ensure a thorough exchange of information and to assist you in the appraisal process.
The final phase includes the selection of the appropriate candidate, referencing and subsequent compensation negotiations. We will conduct thorough references from former managers, peers and direct reports of the selected candidate and participate in compensation negotiations to the extent deemed appropriate by you. Furthermore, we will follow-up with the selected candidate once that individual has joined your organization in order to ensure a smooth transition.
